Paul McCann: Game Night in Philly - Let's Do It Again!

This should be a fun game. The last one was pure insanity, and I'm sure Philly didn't like losing in regulation after coming from behind to take a two goal lead. I agree with Paul that both teams are fast & fun to watch. Philly has some real skill and speed on their top lines, and I think their defense is underrated. Can't wait for the game.

As for Bonino, he needs to take time and fully heal. The last thing you need for a veteran player is to play at 70-80% all year. I'm pretty sure that's what Subban did all of last season. The Preds can certainly manage around Bonino for a few weeks if necessary, as Jarnkrok is a fine short-term 2nd line C. Jarnkrok's 2-way game and versatility (and reasonable long-term contract) should serve as a reminder to Preds fans that Poile knows what he's doing in protecting Jarnkrok and exposing Neal in the expansion draft. I have a bunch of buddies that are lamenting losing Neal, but the Preds are younger and more adaptable with Jarnkrok, and they are certainly in a better cap position (though it would be nice to have Neal too!).
